Hello All, My name is Renee and my life has been deeply impacted by a tragedy that has befallen me. In a world filled with endless possibilities, my life has been thrust into a nightmare, that no one should have to endure. I am currently fighting for my eyesight, after the onset of a rare and horrifying eye disease that has left me visually impaired, and in urgent need of a corneal transplant surgery to prevent permanent vision loss. But together you (the public) can be the ray of hope that I so desperately need. My Story: I am a young and vibrant career-driven woman, and a nurturing mother, with a heart of gold, and a potentially bright future, but my life took a tragic turn when I was diagnosed with Advanced Bilateral Keratoconus, as well as the early onset of Hydrops. This is a rapidly progressive disease of the eye, which requires immediate medical care, and can result in the permanent loss of vision, if left untreated for too long. My vivacious smile has been replaced with pain and suffering, but I refuse to give up on this battle! I am therefore reaching out to you today with a heartfelt plea for help and support.
